Amity International School Celebrates Prerna Diwas with Grand Junior Athletic Competitions

Lucknow: Amity International School, Viraj Khand, celebrated Prerna Diwas with great enthusiasm, organizing grand junior athletic competitions to encourage all-round development of students by fostering excellence in both academics and sports.

The event was held under the guidance of Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson of Amity International School, and Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, and witnessed participation from more than 400 students representing 20 teams from various schools across the city. Principals and teachers from the participating schools graced the occasion as special guests.

Meticulously designed to ensure equal opportunity for all participants, the competitions featured a variety of events promoting physical fitness, discipline, and teamwork. Class 3 students competed in Crab Walk, Tunnel Race, and Shuttle Race; Class 4 students showcased their skills in the 30-meter Dash, Hula Hoop Race, and Standing Broad Jump; while Class 5 participants excelled in Skipping Race, Basketball Shooting, and Standing Broad Jump.

The thrilling performances of the young athletes kept the audience engaged and inspired throughout. In her concluding address, Principal Mrs. Rachna Mishra praised the students’ efforts and congratulated everyone on Prerna Diwas. She expressed her gratitude and remarked, “Just as the roots are essential to keep a giant tree green and thriving, our sources of inspiration play a crucial role in making each Amity institution grow and flourish.”
